Herbert raised FAK rates from the Far East to Nordic and Mediterranean regions
On October 2nd, Herbert announced that starting from November 1st, FAK rates will be increased for goods transported in 20 foot and 40 foot containers (including high containers and refrigerated containers) from the Far East to Europe and the Mediterranean (including the Adriatic Sea, Black Sea, and North Africa).
Herbert Upregulates GRI from Asia to Latin America
On October 5th, Herbert announced that goods from Asia (excluding Japan) to the West Coast of Latin America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America were about to increase their General Rate (GRI). This GRI applies to all containers starting from October 16, 2023, and is valid until further notice. A 20 foot dry cargo container costs $250, while a 40 foot dry cargo, high container, and refrigerated container costs $500.
CMA Raises FAK Rates from Asia to Nordic Europe
On October 4th, CMA announced the adjustment of FAK rates from Asia to Nordic Europe. Effective from November 1, 2023 (loading date) until further notice. Increase to $1000 per 20 foot dry container and $1800 per 40 foot dry/high/refrigerated container.
