IAG Cargo hopes to benefit from additional flights to Asia, North America and South America as part of the airline group's summer schedule.

The Cargo division of IAG Cargo said a highlight of the summer season (from April to October) was the resumption of daily Heathrow flights to Kuala Lumpur, which will start on April 1 using Boeing 787-9 capacity.

At the same time, the group will also resume three weekly flights from Madrid and Barcelona to San Francisco.

There will be "significant capacity growth" in North America, including flights back to Denver from Dublin and additional services from Heathrow on routes including Chicago, Vancouver and Washington.

In Latin America, the number of flights from Madrid to Rio de Janeiro will increase from four to six a week, "supporting growing demand in the region".

The Asia Pacific and Middle East network will benefit from increased frequency of flights from Heathrow to Doha, from 7 to 12 per week, while Tokyo Haneda to Heathrow will increase from 10 to 14 per week.

Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at IAG Cargo, said: "Our summer 2025 plan will see capacity growth in key markets around the world. We are particularly pleased to resume flights to Kuala Lumpur, Denver and San Francisco, while increasing capacity to North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific."

"Whether we're transporting electronic chips, pharmaceuticals or perishables, we have a wide range of specialized transportation solutions."

IAG Cargo offers more than 600 widebody flights from London each week. Dublin is a key transatlantic gateway, with more than 80 widebody flights a week.

Madrid and Barcelona offer more than 240 weekly flights to North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.
