Maersk Shipping Company will suspend shipping services in this country!

Danish shipping company Maersk stated on Tuesday that starting from December 1st, it will no longer provide shipping services to and from Syria, and will no longer accept bookings to and from Syria.

The last Maersk vessel to dock in Syria is the Maersk Narmada, which will dock on November 28th.

Maersk stated in the announcement: "In order to fulfill our existing commitments, we will ensure convenience for all bookings of allocated containers to and from Syria. We will contact all customers affected by this announcement separately to discuss delivery details

Maersk stated that due to the high level of sanctions, commercial activities in Syria have been greatly restricted, and Maersk's business in the country is very limited. Recently, this has become more challenging in terms of logistics, so we have decided to completely close our business.
