International shipping company COSCO Shipping launches Mexican express delivery service
With the booming development of trade between China and Asia,
COSCO Shipping Holdings Limited will launch a Mexican express delivery service to improve the efficiency of shipping connections with Asia.
This service will deploy 8 vessels ranging from 4000 to 6000 TEU,
mainly stopping at ports such as Busan, Dalian, Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Ensenada, Manzanillo, and Ensenada.
From January to April this year, the throughput of Mexican ports increased by 18.2% year-on-year,
especially the 9 ports along the Pacific coast, demonstrating the enormous potential of Asia Mexico trade.
China Mexico trade has been described by analyst Xeneta as the fastest growing container trade in the world.
The company has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Hisense and Hutchison Port to jointly
develop Hisense Monterey factory warehousing, Hisense Tijuana factory logistics, and Hutchison Ensenada shipyard projects to promote digital
supply chain cooperation and bring a new chapter to the business development of COSCO Shipping Holdings in Mexico.
COSCO Shipping Holdings currently operates 12 container shipping routes to Mexico, with a total capacity of over 220000 TEUs.
