Air China will increase flights from Beijing to Copenhagen
Star Alliance member Air China will operate daily Airbus A350-900 flights throughout the year starting from March 30, 2025, expanding the operation of the Beijing Copenhagen route.
Previously, the route operated 5 flights per week in the summer schedule of 2024, temporarily increased to daily flights during July and August, and continued to operate 4 flights per week in the winter schedule of 2024.
The Air China A350-900 aircraft adopts a three cabin layout, with 32 1-2-1 flat business class seats, 24 2-4-2 premium economy class seats, and 256 3-3-3 economy class seats.
Air China stated in its latest October 2024 monthly report that the overall passenger volume for the month increased by 14.5% year-on-year.
The passenger volume of international routes increased by 55.5% year-on-year, and the passenger transport volume increased by 65.4% year-on-year.
The occupancy rate was 81.9%, an increase of 5.1 percentage points compared to the same period last year.
In other company updates, on October 27, 2024, Air China added daily flights from Shanghai Pudong to Hanoi.
In the future, starting from December 28, 2024, Air China will open the Beijing Xi'an Minsk triangle route, which will complement the existing Beijing Minsk direct flight route.
Air China and its subsidiaries currently operate over 920 aircraft.
