COSCO Group opens a new route from China to the east coast of South America

COSCO Shipping has a new container service that connects Tianjin Port in China with the east coast of South America.sea freight door to door

Last week, a new route from the northern port of Tianjin in China to the east coast of South America began operations to promote trade between China and countries in the region. It will reduce the sailing time from 54 days to 40 days and increase refrigerated transportation capacity.

This route connecting China and South America is the longest cross Pacific route and will be operated by COSCO Shipping, connecting Tianjin Port with several ports in South America, including Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Itapo á, and Navegantis in Brazil.

COSCO Shipping will deploy 12 vessels with a capacity of 14000 TEU, sailing once a week.

China has become Brazil's largest trading partner for 15 consecutive years, and Brazil is also China's largest trading partner and direct investment destination in Latin America.
